Benjamin Sages

Benjamin is the creator of Quest of Sages, a multidisciplinary art project inspired by his journey to photograph a portrait of one person from every country in the world.

Originally from New York, he relocated to California to work as a commercial photographer before embracing a nomadic lifestyle in pursuit of his passion for cultural heritage and global storytelling. His travels have taken him to remote communities, where he documents individuals in traditional clothing while studying their folk heritage to support cultural preservation eorts. Inspired by vivid folktales and local legends, Benjamin is sharing the story of his excursions by writing a mythological fantasy series that transforms his real-world journeys into an epic narrative saga of his own. Through both his photography and writing projects, he explores the profound connections between people across borders, celebrating our shared humanity while honoring the rich diversity of global traditions. He is devoted to developing this singular artistic vision, evolving and expanding it across various mediums as his life's work.
